Welcome to Display
Display is a curated collection of important graphic design books, periodicals, advertisements and ephemera. Established in 2009, Display intends to build a digital graphic collection (from original materials) which generates inspiration and awareness about modern, mid 20th century graphic design history and some of its pioneers.
Display is organized, designed and maintained by Kind Company, an independent web and print design office in Brooklyn, New York. We're also responsible for the Alvin Lustig Archive. Partners - Greg D’Onofrio and Patricia Belen - are practicing designers, graphic design history enthusiasts and collectors.
Original Images and Text
All images included in the Display collection are original. We photograph and scan items from our own personal collection and in some instances from the collections of others. The content is also original and is a result of our own research, observations and insight from colleagues. It is intended for personal, educational and non-commercial purposes.
Purchase and Consignment
Periodically, we purchase and consign selected hard-to-find graphic design items. If you have books, periodicals, ephemera or posters that you'd like to sell directly or consign in our bookstore, please feel free to email us with an accurate description of your item. Sorry, we cannot purchase or consign everything submitted. If you're searching for an uncommon graphic design book - with your requests, we may be able to help.

Bookstore Policies
All international and domestic transactions on this site are safe and secure through PayPal . Shipping is handled with care and includes insurance via UPS or USPS. If you're not satisfied with a purchase, email us directly to sort it out. Returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt and must be shipped back to us in the original packaging with online tracking and insurance covering the full value of the item(s). If you're in the neighborhood, you may schedule an appointment to pick-up your items in our Brooklyn office.
