Description
Cover design uses illustration to display miniature radial and pivot type ball bearings at actual sizes and magnified sizes to show differentiation. The white ellipse and arrows direct visual flow from top to bottom. As art director for Sweet’s Catalog Service (1941-60) and a freelance consultant, Sutnar and his team designed numerous industrial catalogs and pioneered the way for clear and concise information design.
