A very important, first edition book published in conjunction with MoMA's historic 1938 exhibition. Profusely illustrated in black and white. Preface by Alfred H. Barr, Jr. with biographical notes and bibliography.
Very good hardcover with slight fraying on lower spine and some soiling to the front and back yellow cloth covers, designed by Herbert Bayer. Foxing to the endpapers without dust jacket.
