Unique opportunity to acquire eight complete issues from 1959–69 (No. 1, 3, 4, 7, 12, 13, 14, 36) with covers by: Ikko Tanaka, Hiromu Hara, Ryuichi Yamashiro, Kazumasa Nagai, Atsuko Anzai, Max Huber, Kiyoshi Awazu and Seizo Tajima. From 1959–1986, this Japanese quarterly promoted Japanese and Western designers, placing emphasis on work with a more constructed approach. Its' editor, Masaru Katzumie, was an influential critic and contributor to the development of Japanese Graphic Design. Important, inspirational and heavily illustrated with superb trade advertising and many uncommon examples from Japan and beyond.

Very good vintage magazines with light wear, slight bends and a few creases. Issue No. 1 includes the most damage with a large corner cover crease and paper loss. Interiors are generally clean and bright. Earliest issues have English captions only. Later issues have English summary text in the back. Printed in Japan. Heavy.
